“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” – Phil Jackson
Having the right team in place to serve you, our valued clients, is of paramount importance to us. This month we get to know Kayleigh James: why she wanted to be part of the UNIQ family, her goals and aspirations, and what keeps her busy outside of work.
What is your job title? How did that happen?
I am Professional Support and have been since I started working for the firm in August 2019. I came from another IFA firm in Bridgend where I worked as a Trainee Paraplanner.
What drew you to UNIQ Family Wealth?
I liked the cashflow planning, and I liked that UNIQ focuses its business on the lifestyles of its clients before making investment choices. Not many IFAs have that ethical approach.
What keeps you smiling at work every day?
I like completing new business and seeing the processes go from start to finish. I also have a really good team of colleagues who are always available to help or bounce ideas off.
What are you saving for?
I am saving towards a house deposit, which I hope to achieve in the next two years for myself and my daughter.
What keeps you busy when you’re not at UNIQ?
I’m a foodie, so I enjoy dining out or attending local food fayres when I have some spare time. I also love to read and go hiking.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
To stay in school and gain those A-levels!
Finally, what goals are you working towards now?
I am studying towards becoming a fully-fledged Paraplanner and this is where I would like to be in the next 12 months.
