Yesterday we woke up to the news that the UK has a hung Parliament, with no party holding an absolute majority. With Theresa May looking to form a government with the DUP to ‘provide certainty’ and keep country ‘safe’ and Jeremy Corbyn calling for May to resign, it seems that we have an interesting week in poliitics ahead. Negotiations on Brexit are getting nearer although there is an option to ask the EU for these to be delayed. The chance of a minority government was barely given a moment’s thought back on April 18 when Mrs May called this election. Then the polls, saw the Prime Minister commanding a 20-point lead over the Labour leader. It just goes to show what can change in a short amount of time. But whichever way you voted, we can all share a desire in wanting a clear way forward for the country.
